Crown Shyness
79 x 62 cm
Linocut
‘Crown Shyness’ is the view when I looked directly upwards whilst walking in woodland in Scotland. I am particulary interested in the negative spaces created between the tree crowns.
These prints are original linocuts. I cut directly into the lino using traditional hand tools. Then I ink up the block and print the edition one at a time. Each print is an original artist print.
No. of prints in edition: 20
This print is made using Cranfield’s Caligo Safewash Relief Ink. The paper is Liber Charta it is acid free and archival.
Each print is signed, dated and editioned in pencil below the image.
