David Robertson is an artist who specialises in wood engraving. David walks and sketches in the countryside, creating engravings from these drawings back in his studio. Wood engravings are made on end grain wood blocks using traditional tools.
David Robertson is an award winning artist, associate member of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers and member of the Society of Wood Engravers. His work is held in public collections at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, Manchester Metropolitan University, Royal Collections Trust, Windsor Castle and Central Academy Fine Art, Beijing, China as well as private collections around the world.
